5 Films to Watch This July

Cookouts, fireworks, and pool days aren’t the only thing to look forward to this month. You won’t want to miss these five films that will be hitting the box office throughout the month. Viewers can expect to see modern adaptations of classic tales, a new film inspired by a Disneyland ride, a new Marvel movie and part 2 of a prequel to a beloved family-friendly animated classic.

Cinderella

In a musical retelling, Camila Cabello as Cinderella and Nicholas Galitzine as Prince Robert, bring the story of Cinderella to life in a new and magical way. The 2021 version of Cinderella is a musical romantic comedy full of unexpected plot twists. Critics are calling it “a bold new take on the traditional Cinderella story.”

Jungle Cruise

The Green Knight

Based on the Marvel Comics character, Shang-Chi, comes an action packed, American superhero film. Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is set to be released on July 9, 2021 and will become the 25th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Shang-Chi, played by Simu Liu, a kung-fu master, is forced to confront the past he is trying to leave behind when he is drawn into the mysterious Ten Rings Organization. This action, adventure and sci-fi fantasy film is an exciting release for fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the Marvel character Shang-Chi.

Minions: The Rise of Gru

In an effort to become evil enough to join the group, Gru and his army of minions devise a plan to pull off an unbelievable first mission to prove his evil capabilities.
