Virtual Art Camp

Do you have a budding young Picasso, Martha Graham or Yo-Yo Ma on your hands? Maybe a Jack White or a Jackson Pollock? If you’re looking for a fantastic outlet to channel all of that brilliant creativity this August, we’re here to help. 

Here are some great virtual classes in our area to keep your kids involved in the arts this August: 

Arts in CT is a Connecticut based nonprofit that designs high quality programs focused on arts integration in education. Their virtual offerings for August include Art, Dance, Music, and Theater online classes for kids.

Random Farms Kids Theater in Elmsford, NY is a non-profit that puts kids center stage. It is dedicated to creating a safe environment where children of all backgrounds are encouraged to discover the joy of theater within themselves. Their Virtual Summer Learning offerings include Disney Dance (k-4th graders) where  kids will learn choreography from Disney movies including Moana, Zombies, and Camp Rock, Descendants, Frozen, and Beauty and the Beast. For the slightly older set (5th-8th graders), Random Farms offers Broadway Dance where kids will learn choreography from Broadway shows Hamilton, Grease, and Newsies, Hairspray, Mary Poppins, and School of Rock.  $75 for a three class session.

CinemaKidz is a Brooklyn based, youth arts STEAM educational program, offering children, ages 5-15, the opportunity to explore the world of filmmaking. Check out their weekly virtual throughout the month of August including Creative Filmmaking, Animation, Youtube Production, Acting, Music Production, Storytelling, Video Editing, etc. They will deliver class materials right to your door!

Made Art Studio is a Mamaroneck, NY based arts studio for children. This August, they are offering weekly art and design virtual classes which include daily projects, step by step video instructions, zoom meetings with instructors and all the materials your child needs to create a masterpiece!

One River Art School in Westport, CT is on a mission to transform art education in America. This August, the school offers virtual studio classes for all ages.  For information on their amazing and inspiring offerings, visit: to register. 

Bravo Academy offers Virtual Music, Theater, and Performing Arts camps from August 31-September 4, ages 10-13 by audition for Youth Music Theater Intensive where kids will be collaborating and developing new music theater material, singing and staging repertoire, and will be working on their own new songs and scenes.
