JUNE 1 - 4, 2017

Children’s Acting Workshop

Ever wonder what it would be like to be the star of your own Disney show? Want the secrets from the pros? Join some of Hollywood’s bright young stars including Neel Sethi (The Jungle Book) and Peyton List (Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Jessie) for this engaging workshop.

Participants aged 6-13 will get the opportunity to learn the tricks of the trade from GIFF panelists and will participate in acting exercises with Matt Newton, one of the most sought after on-camera acting coaches in New York City. His clients include Tony winners, Emmy award winners, Golden Globe nominees, and well known actors from film and television. VIP passholder’s children will have the opportunity to work with Matt before the workshop in a private acting session to create their audition tapes which will then be reviewed by top casting director Adrienne Stern.

These professionals will help your rising stars improve their technique, so that they can land that big part in the school play, on Broadway or on the screen. Don’t forget to exit stage left to get your selfies with the stars! This fun-filled day will be one your little ones wont want to miss!

The 2nd Annual Children’s Acting Workshop will be held Saturday June 11th at the Greenwich Country Day School’s Preforming Arts Center. Admission to this exclusive workshop is reserved for GIFF 2016 VIP Passholders and their children. Parents must accompany their children to this event.
